ISLAMABAD, April 21 (Xinhua) — Pakistan confirmed 103 new COVID-19 cases and no death from the pandemic during the past 24 hours, the country’s ministry of health said on Thursday.

According to data released by the ministry, the country’s total tally of COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,527,589, including 1,493,870 recoveries.

Currently, 205 patients are in critical condition due to the pandemic in Pakistan.

Pakistan’s southern Sindh province is the most affected region in terms of the number of cases, with 576,677 infections in total, followed by the eastern Punjab province which has reported 505,810 cases so far. Enditem
