Pakistan registers 98 new COVID-19 cases-Xinhua – Xinhua

ISLAMABAD, April 11 (Xinhua) — Pakistan on Sunday registered 98 new COVID-19 cases and recorded no death during the day, the Ministry of Health said on Monday.

According to data released by the ministry, the country’s overall tally of COVID-19 has risen to 1,526,666 cases, including 1,486,879 recoveries.

There are 9,426 active cases in the country, including 269 patients who are in critical condition.

Pakistan’s southern Sindh province is the most affected region in terms of the number of cases, with 576,354 infections, followed by the eastern Punjab province which has reported 505,412 cases so far. ?
