Pakistan reports 155 new COVID-19 cases-Xinhua – Xinhua

ISLAMABAD, April 5 (Xinhua) — Pakistan reported 155 new COVID-19 cases and no death was recorded over past 24 hours, the country’s Ministry of Health said on Tuesday.

According to the data released by the ministry, the country’s overall tally of COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,525,775, including 1,486,252 recoveries.

There are 9,162 active cases in the country, including 321 patients in critical condition.

The ministry added that no death was recorded on Monday, keeping the death toll at 30,361.

Pakistan’s southern Sindh province is the most affected region in terms of the number of cases, with 575,872 infections, followed by the eastern Punjab province which has reported 505,186 cases. ?
