Online travel agency GoZayaan has acquired Pakistan-based FindMyAdventure for an undisclosed amount.

The move gives Bangladesh-based GoZayaan a presence in Pakistan via FindMyAdventure’s platform of hotels, vacation rentals and experiences.

Komail Naqvi, founder of FindMyAdventure and now the country managing director of GoZayaan Pakistan says: “We’re very excited to take this partnership forward with our aligned goal to solving regional travel related problems. We’re now backed with the best investors around the globe and their collective interest in the Pakistan travel market shows that we still have huge potential.”

GoZayaan was founded in 2017 and says it was the first online travel aggregator in Bangladesh.

The company received $2.6 million in seed funding last September in a round led by South-east Asia early stage investor Wavemaker Partners.

Former Airbnb and Priceline executives also participated in the round.

A further undisclosed round was completed recently with Nordstar Partners and DST Global involved as well as existing investors.
